Screen Printing New Cards//Peddler Night Market

I had a fun and very gratifying time last week, getting all my new card designs finalised, exposed onto screens, and printed up in lovely, fresh colours. I found extra joy in adding the little spotty details to the envelopes and brown paper bags. They went down really well at the Peddler Night Market in Sheffield. Peddler is always worth a visit. It's a perfect combination of art (James Green was next door to me selling his ace lino and screen prints), craft, and book sellers (la Biblioteka and Craft Lab Sheffield were in attendance, with their covetable array of publications and Julie's brilliant macrame plant hangers), excellent street food stands, perfect coffee from the Depot Bakery next door, and guest breweries on the bar. What's not to like?

I managed to sample an excellent potato and kale pakora from Fancy an Indian, delicious thai style fried chicken from Buddha Belly, and (possibly my favourite thing to eat anywhere), burgers from the Cow Boys. Now, what's for lunch? Probably some sort of lettuce, I dunno.

Printing, printing, printing. Plus some packing and badge making.
